SENTRIES have a single, immensely powerful attack that is a danger to any Warrior. Their Absorb and HP are high enough to make them tough to take down, and most magic is effectively useless. LIT3 will soften them up, but deals less than half of their maximum HP in damage on average. Fortunately you'll only ever see one at a time, possibly accompanied by a weaker GUARD.

Use the CHIME to enter the Mirage Tower, collecting Treasure and learning that you need the CUBE to proceed further.
Guardians are a strange, robotic enemy. They have very high Defense which makes them somewhat difficult to kill, but they don't deal much damage. They can Paralyze with their attacks, though by this point in the game your characters have enough Magic Defense to make this a rarity. You can try softening up groups of Guardians with Lightning Spells, but their Magic Defense will make this a difficult proposition.

The Guardian is utterly invincible in the World of Balance. It will usually counter Fight by attacking, but otherwise just sits there. Its attacks should be horrendously powerful, but due to a bug are much more reasonable. Make no mistake, though—if you fight the Guardian here, you will lose.
