Cobras start to appear in the area around Elfheim, and while they deal little damage and are easy to take out, they are Poisonous, so they can drain your resources if they get a few lucky hits in. Take them out quickly to avoid the Poison, and be thankful something more dangerous didn't appear. When they appear in large groups in the Terra Cavern, it may be prudent to use a tier-2 Spell to take them all out in one shot.

Dragon
Anacondas are strange foes that appear towards the middle of the game but pose no significant threat. They deal decent damage, but are easy to kill, and they aren't Poisonous. The main threat is that, unlike most other Monsters, they have a reasonable chance of connecting with a critical hit. Even so, when you run into these in the Terra Cavern, there aren't many encounters you'd rather see.

SeaSNAKES have a good number of HP, but low Absorb and Damage. In mixed groups, LOBSTERS are a bigger threat. SeaSNAKES make good targets for MASTERS due to their low Absorb, and LIT2 can soften up large groups of them. Liberal use of the Zeus Gauntlet is highly recommended.

Encountered In
Sea Snakes are the most dangerous foes on the Ocean, but a jolt of Thunder should take one out if you've leveled it at all. Their attack is nasty, three hits that each deal plenty of damage and inflict Poison, and they have substantial defense. You can slug it out with them, but it's probably best to end the fight quickly.
