Minwu begins with an impressive array of white magic at high levels, though he has no attack Spell and no weapon skills. He brings a valuable Ether as well as a Conch Shell, which is good for one casting of Shell 16. You may want to put these Items in your general inventory before Minwu leaves if you haven't used them yet. Minwu has a lot more HP and MP than the rest of your party, and a good agility score to boot, so he is unlikely to die. Don't let him do all the healing, since your permanent Characters need to level up their Cure Spells.
