This chocobo forest, called the "Roaming Forest", is located east of Trabia Garden, around a mountain range. As an intermediate forest, you may want to start at one of the other Trabia chocobo forests. Chocoboy performs the same tasks here as in other forests, but he sells Gysahl Greens in bunches of 5.

If you catch it, which can be quite difficult, you can ride it across the World Map. (Note that just talking to it counts as catching it—the chocobo will be waiting for you outside.) Chocobo Forests are your primary access point for fat chocobo storage. You'll need a Gysahl Green each time you want to speak to the fat chocobo, but every forest has one hidden in the grass, so the first time is free. You'll also find yellow chocobos you can ride and white chocobos that will restore 500 MP to every party member when you speak to them. If you have any healers, a white chocobo is like a free inn.
