The
Whelk's head is the part you should be attacking. It will disappear at regular intervals, usually about every other turn. Be careful, because if you set up an attack against the head and it disappears before the attack happens, you'll hit the
shell and it will respond with
Mega Volt.
The
Whelk head will usually attack normally, but 1/3 of the time it uses the non-damaging
Slime attack that causes
Slow. There's nothing you can do about this at this point in the game, so fight on, but be careful with your timing.
