The Orichalcum is a huge upgrade over the Main Gauche for your knife user, adding 18 attack and 2 accuracy. It doesn't have the nice evasion % bonus, but there's nothing stopping you from wielding the Main Gauche as an off-hand weapon, much like a shield. This knife is also powerful against Aquatic creatures, so it's useful when sailing in the post-Cyclone Ocean.
