Boss Red Dragon

This is a wide open floor featuring a lot of nice treasure. You start in the southwest corner, and the stairs up are in the southeast corner, but the treasures are all to the north. The Betrayal Fang is found near the middle of the floor, near the western rock structure. The door in the northern wall leads to a treasure room containing the Aegis Shield, Dragon Armor, and Holy Lance. This combination of shield and armor grants all the resistances of a Ribbon, and is quite powerful. The Holy Lance is another nice item, the most powerful polearm in the game. Just don't use it as an item, since it will cast Holy 8 and be lost if you do. Back in the main area, a chest in the northeast area contains Yoichi's Bow, and is guarded by the toughest of the Dragon family, a Red Dragon. Yoichi's Bow is not only powerful, it casts Berserk 3 on the party for free.
