This chocobo forest, called the "Roaming Forest", is located east of Trabia Garden, around a mountain range. As an intermediate forest, you may want to start at one of the other Trabia chocobo forests. Chocoboy performs the same tasks here as in other forests, but he sells Gysahl Greens in bunches of 5.

Chocoboy's clue here is "Be careful where the [Sonar] reacts." The hint is referring to the fact that you can use the ChocoSonar near the entrance of the forest. Blowing the whistle in the main area (point A) will cause the three chicobos to show up in different numbers. Do this to begin with until the two starting chicobos are gone. Then head to point B to attract a single chicobo.

Use the ChocoZiner in the back of the area once the mother chocobo shows up to find a pair of stones.

This chocobo forest, called the "Forest of Fun", is located near Edea's House. As an expert forest, you may want to start with one of the easier forests. Chocoboy performs the same tasks here as in other forests, but he sells Gysahl Greens in bunches of 10.

Chocoboy's clue here is "Chocobowling with 4 bottles, 1 ball." You'll need to set up four chicobos before you can narrow the field down to 1. There are multiple solutions here, but the most fun is to follow the hint exactly. Simply hit each spot in order from D back to A. The chicobo on the left will bowl over the other four.

You'll find a trio of stones by using the ChocoZiner on the far right of the area once the mother chocobo appears.

This chocobo forest, called the "Forest of Solitude", is located on a peninsula in the northeast part of the Centra Region. As an intermediate forest, you may want to start with one of the easier forests. Chocoboy performs the same tasks here as in other forests, but he sells Gysahl Greens in bunches of 5.

Chocoboy's clue here is "Search carefully where the [Sonar] reacts." This is referring to the fact that there is only one spot where you can use the ChocoZiner, and it's difficult to pinpoint.

Finding the two hidden stones is also tricky here. Challenge Chocoboy to a game of Cards, then tell him to forget it and just move. Use the ChocoZiner near where he was standing to find your hidden prize.

This chocobo forest, called the "Basics Forest", is located on the west coast of the Trabia Region, south of Winter Island. In each chocobo forest, you'll find Chocoboy. The first time you encounter him, he'll give you a ChocoWhis and charge you 1,000 gil to learn how to use it. If you lose it (by using the ChocoZiner in the wrong place), you can buy another for 700 gil.

If you complete the minigame in the forest, you'll be able to ride a chocobo without paying gil. If you don't want to bother with the minigame, you can pay Chocoboy 1,200 gil for a chocobo ride (you can do this from the ChocoWhis menu). He also sells hints for 100 gil, Gysahl Greens for 600 gil each, and will reiterate parts of his lecture for 10 gil.

Chocoboy's clue here is "You have to blow the whistle twice." Your first target is the middle of the circular side area, point C. Follow that up with either of the points on the lower part of the area. Once the mother chocobo shows up, use the ChocoZiner on the far left of the area to find a Flare Stone.

Once you catch your first chocobo, you'll get a chicobo you can name. (His default name is Boko.) Chocoboy will also tell you about the PocketStation game Chocobo World. Since I don't have a PocketStation, I have nothing to say about that game.

This chocobo forest, called the "Enclosed Forest", is located on the southern peninsula of the southern continent. As an expert forest, you may want to start with one of the easier forests. Chocoboy performs the same tasks here as in other forests, but he sells Gysahl Greens in bunches of 10.

Chocoboy's clue here is "Collect on outer side, then go in." There are five spots here—one in the middle, and four along the outside. As you might expect, the hint is telling you to hit all four outer spots first (once each), then go in the middle (point C).

You'll find a trio of stones by using the ChocoZiner at point E.

This chocobo forest, called the "Beginner's Forest", is located near the Shumi Village. In each chocobo forest, you'll find Chocoboy. The first time you encounter him, he'll give you a ChocoWhis and charge you 1,000 gil to learn how to use it. If you lose it (by using the ChocoZiner in the wrong place), you can buy another for 700 gil.
